URS HECHT Quince Schnapps
The trees that produce the key ingredient for our quince schnapps are on the rare side these days. On top of that, the tall trees aged between 20 and 35 years only bear fruit every other year. That fruit is picked by hand in Central Switzerland from the middle to the end of October, before going on to be mashed and distilled by Urs Hecht to create a special schnapps that you don’t come across every day. According to Urs Hecht, this rare treat is best enjoyed with a quince mousse.
