Lucerne Damson Schnapps

The damson is a subspecies of the plum tree, part of the rose family and classed as a stone fruit. Originally cultivated in Asia, the fruit was introduced to the Mediterranean by the Romans in 150 BC.
Our producers supply us with damsons, which we go on to carefully preserve and distil.

Mix the damson schnapps with a hot, weak coffee to make a traditional Kaffee Luz.
